i loved my stay here as it was just a short walk to freddy gonzalez park, where i spent a lovely afternoon enjoying the views, and the museum of south texas history was only a quick drive away, providing me with some great insights into the local culture.

The room I stayed in had significant cleanliness issues, including dirty floors and a bathtub covered in fungus. A broken fridge and lack of functioning phone made communication with the front desk impossible. On top of that, loud music and smoking from nearby rooms disrupted the stay, despite a no-smoking policy. The pool was also closed, which was disappointing given the hot weather.

the texas inn and suites city center at university dr is conveniently located near many eateries and stores. the room was spacious, which made my stay comfortable. the lobby staff were friendly, making check-in a breeze.

It was just a smart choice for a quick stop in Edinburg with good price value. The bathtub in my room had some surprising issues, but it was still nice to have access to it. Bring your own cleaning supplies just in case you need them.
